The National Council for Teacher Education has created two panels to revise teacher recruitment rules and enable graduates of the Integrated Teacher Education Programme to qualify for school teaching positions. The plan follows the NEP 2020 target of making the four‑year ITEP the minimum qualification for teachers by 2030.
