The Health and Family Welfare Ministry has notified a draft amendment to the Drugs Rules, 1945, extending the need for Central Government approval to advertise drugs listed in Schedules H, H1 and X for all licence holders who sell, stock, exhibit or distribute these medicines. The change follows consultations with the Drugs Technical Advisory Board.
