A district‑level Youth Parliament finished at Union Christian College, Umbir, aiming to boost youth engagement in democracy. The event, funded by the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly and organised by the college’s IQAC, was part of its 75th Jubilee celebrations. Cabinet Minister Sosthenes Sohtun attended the closing session.
