World Hospice and Palliative Care Day was observed at Gandhi Nagar Hospital in Jammu on 9 October with Director Health Services Poonam Sethi present. Medical students and staff highlighted pain management and compassionate care, and Sethi said palliative services are being strengthened at the hospital and district hospitals to improve comfort and quality of life for patients with serious illnesses.
