Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong said Meghalaya is intensifying its fight against drugs by targeting supply chains and rehabilitation. A multi‑departmental mission led by retired IGP Francis Kharshiing has been formed, and a dedicated police unit will intercept drugs entering the state.
